How and Why to Join GVDG

Who can join GVDG?
Anyone who would like to join can.

How can I join GVDG?
All it takes to join is to pay your first yearly due ($20) and to fill out a club information sheet.

What do I get for my yearly due of $20?
The first you will receive a DX disc of choice (with or without a club stamp), a club t-shirt, a member number and other benefits. Every year after you get a choice of a Dx disc or t-shirt along with the same benefits.

What other benefits are there for a club member?
Yes. Club members get $1 off of all disc purchases, the right to vote in all club elections, the chance to run for club officer positions and the right to register for events before they are open to the public. Plus you get the benefit of knowing you are helping out a local club.

Who do I need to contact about joining GVDG?
All you need to do is talk to a club officer or club member about joining. Also, you can email the club at greenvillediscgolf@gmail.com. The best time to find a club officer or member is at one of our events (doubles, monthly, etc...).

Will I become a great golfer when I join GVDG?
There is no guarantee of this, but you will be part of a great club that has a family like atmosphere. Our club likes to help out each other and we welcome new members. You may not become the next world champion, but you will meet a group of new friends.
