What's in your bag? 1 Wraith (Star), 1 Valkyrie (Champ), 4 Teebirds (Star TL, Star, 2 Champ), 1 Leopard (Champ), 1 Coyote (Champ), 5 Rocs (Champ, SB, KC, Ching, DX), 4 Rhynos (Champ, Pro, 2 Ching)
Tournament/disc golf accomplishments: Winning the Intermediate Division at the inaugural DEPC, winning the Advanced Division at the Farm Life Open '06, founding and serving as president of the UNCG Disc Golf Club. I also pride myself on keeping a cool head on the course and my ability to rebound after a bad round.
Favorite disc golf story: There are a lot, and most of them involve people tripping over roots after missing par putts in their first PDGA tournaments and not getting another birdey until the last hole in the round, falling down hills in front of the teebox after throwing a good drive rather than taking the stairs 20 feet away, or slowly sliding down muddy banks into streams and needing a board to be lowered to provide assistance getting out... you know who you are... (the first was me).
Things you like to do off the course: Anything having to do with music. I play classical double bass, electric bass, guitar, hawaiian lap guitar, piano, mandolin, djembe, and dun-dun. I also like to read, cook, and spend time with friends.
Occupation: I'll be a first year graduate student in historical musicology at the University of Wisconsin this coming fall. I'm also a freelancing musician.

Advice to other golfers: 1. Keep a cool head on the course, whether you're playing casually or (especially) in a tournament. My mental game has helped me rebound from some awful tournament rounds and back into cashing. 2. Remember to have fun on the course. 3. Learn to throw backhand.
